DAVID'S COMPANY CAMPAIGN

In the days before David became king, he led a band of about 600 men. When it was time to fight, David led 400 of those men into battle and stationed 200 to guard and protect their home base. David and his men recovered all, and David made this now famous statement in I Samuel 30:24, “…those that go into battle, and those that remain to guard the stuff…shall share equally in the reward.”

Go To Nations has been sending missionaries into “battle” since 1981. These global teams and missionaries could never work their ‘fields’, fight their battles and ‘recover all’ in the nations, without the tireless and diligent protection, service, and stability that those who are stationed to guard and protect the home base deliver.  

Who are the warriors that are called to guard and protect? Those who invest their time, talent, and treasure into the Go To Nations World Headquarters–our Global Support and Command Center–by undergirding our daily operations. Those who have been called to be ‘a wall about’ the values, resources, and property of Go To Nations both day and night including our mighty force of prayer warriors and volunteers who have been called to lock arms with us and help guard and protect the home base. These warriors are David’s Company.

Under David’s leadership the kingdom soon grew immeasurably; God’s kingdom is about to do the same around the world. In the past 4 years, Go To Nations has DOUBLED our global ministry results over the previous 10 years! We are positioning ourselves to again double our global outreach, effectiveness and impact in the next decade.

Under David’s leadership 2/3 of the warriors went to war and 1/3 stayed to guard the home base. But they both shared equally in the reward. Through extreme dedication and best practices, Go To Nations has been able to release about 90% of its resources into the field, with just 10% remaining for those guarding the home base. It is now time for that 10% to be ENLARGED.  We deeply desire to see these warriors share equally in the reward by providing the recognition, salaries, and benefits that their level of expertise, professional skills, and dedication merit.

Our goal is to front load the Go To Nations World Headquarters for 2024 with $200,000 to ensure that we are able to protect the goods at home, steadily advance our services and leadership to our global teams, and position us for 2024 from a place of strength. We are offering a brand new David’s Company coffee mug for every $1,000 sown into the David’s Company Campaign. This donation may be given as a one-time gift or as a monthly pledge of $84.
