Ken is a graduate of Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX; Faith College in Saskatoon, Canada; and Victory World Missions Training Center in Tulsa, OK. He has been a missionary in the Philippines since 1988. Ken married Cris (a Filipina) in 1989. They have three children-- Casey, Bryan, and Karen.
After studying at Christ for the Nations Bible College in Surrey, BC, Canada from 2009-10, Casey (21) returned to the Philippines where he is now also serving as a missionary alongside his parents. Bryan (20) is a sophomore (school year 2011-12) at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC, Canada. Karen (16) is studying at Faith Academy Mindanao in the Philippines.
The Sandbergs reside in Davao City on Mindanao Island in the Philippines. They have been with Go To Nations since 1995 and are currently serving as the National Projects Coordinators.
Ken & Cris are frequent speakers in churches and Christian conferences in the Philippines. Ken is now the SE Asia Director for Global Advance in a networking relationship with GTN. He & Cris have hosted several Global Advance conferences for pastors, church leaders, and women in Indonesia, Vietnam & the Philippines. In the past three years, about 5000 people have attended these events, with guest speakers from the USA & Canada also involved.
