Ministry to father and equip the next generation of leaders globally who will finish the work of GTN and the Great Commission.
- This generation needs fathering.
- The story of our beginnings and the lessons learned in the journey must be passed in order to not repeat history.
- The mission, vision, values and DNA of the organization must be passed in order to insure the integrity of the mission and the longevity of the organization until the Great Commission is fulfilled.
- If we are not intentional about passing the baton now, we will miss our opportunity to finish our race strong.
The Rational: Paul admonished young Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, commit thou the same to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also.” Why is it so important that we give what we have received and insure that it is deposited into the very fabric and DNA of faithful men who will then in turn do the same? Because Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, “And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.” For the Gospel to be preached in all the world, it requires ‘faithful’ men and women who understand and own THE GREAT COMMISSION and are committed to completing it under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit as long as they have breath. If we do not take what we have and father and mother the next generation who will father and mother the next generation, we will possibly lose multiple generations until the Body of Christ gets serious about discipling leaders who will disciple leaders.
We are in an hour where GTN leaders are seen as patriarchs and matriarchs of the faith. We have a Kairos moment to pass the baton well as we train future generations, imparting the mission and vision of GTN and our Core Values as a ministry.
The vastness of the work we are involved in, the criticalness of the hour and the realization of what we carry through our sons and daughters has brought us to possibly the largest wide open door for effectual ministry and maturity as an organization that we have ever known.
