I was born and raised in a small town in Missouri. I graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in International Community Development and later completed the third year missions program at Christ for the Nations. I went to the Philippines in 2009, and after completing my internship, joined Go to Nations. I went back to the Philippines and served in Iloilo City for six years. While there I was the assistant director of GTN’s Timothy Internship Program, an intensive 10-week internship for future missionaries mainly catering to Americans. I also served in a church plant that ministered to a community of people relocated after a severe typhoon. I helped develop the worship team and the children’s ministry along with implementing community development projects. With a desire to partner community development and business and help the poorest of the poor, I completed my MBA from Regent University in 2015.
My time in the Philippines gave me the desire to develop a pre-field departure training for Filipinos that felt called to missions. I was able to run two trainings in the Philippines before transferring to Thailand in 2016. I am currently in Chiang Rai and working in partnership with Asian Mission Outreach Foundation to teach English and reach the youth in the city. I am also the Thailand Apprenticeship Director and have the opportunity to train our GTN apprentices here in Thailand. I also hold the position of International Apprenticeship Director for GTN, and along with Thailand, I am developing apprenticeships in Honduras, the United States and the Philippines.
My vision is to reach the unreached, first in Asia and then in other parts of the world, with the gospel of Jesus Christ. My mission is to come alongside the local church and help them empower, equip, and send out missionaries. I also want to see communities transformed through discipleship, worship and holistic development.
