Missionaries to Guatemala

 

We have been married for 30 years and have two children, Chris and Carrie. We served in local church ministry for 23 years, including 9 years as senior pastors, before joining Go To Nations in 2004. We have always had a heart for missions and have conducted many short-term mission trips including Mexico, South America, Central America, Russia, the Philippines and Africa.

We currently serve as Directors of GTN's Petén Base in Northern Guatemala.  Along with our missionary team, the students of our Timothy Internship Program, and short-term teams from the states, we have tremendous success accomplishing the work of our many projects here in the Petén.  We work in remote villages transforming communities by combining development projects with evangelism and discipleship.  Some of our gateway ministries include construction and community development, literacy training, health education and medical clinics, water filters, and scholarship programs for kids. 

Other ministry projects include children’s evangelism and crusades, woman’s conferences as well as leadership conferences, care for homeless elderly, Bible teaching and missionary training.  The most important goal is for the people of Petén to come to a true understanding of how much God loves them and how deeply He desires a relationship with them. 

Serving here in Guatemala is the fulfillment of the desire and vision of our hearts.  We are deeply grateful for our partners whose prayer and financial support have made our dream a reality.
