Send a Note Add to Prayer Start a Fundraising Campaign
Serving In: Asia

Craig and Jen Ames have been serving in Chiang Rai, Thailand since October 2012. They both have a background in education and Jen in counseling. They have been blessed with three beautiful children through the miracle of adoption, all whom were born in Thailand and joined their family at varying ages.

Craig and Jen desire to see individuals set free and restored from the bondages of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Jen is working with a partnering anti-trafficking ministry, Ezekiel Rain, providing counseling to survivors of abuse and exploitation as she is training and coaching Thai nationals to counsel.

Jen has developed a restoration curriculum that has been translated into Thai and is now being used by Thai team members to lead survivors in a healing process. She desires to see Thai believers equipped as ministers of healing and to see Thai families walking in wholeness; ministering in the spirit of adoption to those in need of the restoration that family can bring!

Craig is a natural disciple-maker. He lives this out through his role as teacher and cross-country coach at Chiang Rai International Christian School. Together with Jen, he is leading the youth group within the international community and mentoring both Christian and non-Christian young people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds who are searching for truth. Craig also participates in making disciples through teaching in Bible schools throughout the region. He is passionate about seeing others reach their full God-given potential; living life as lovers of Jesus!

Craig and Jen have found favor in many arenas to be a voice for adoption, both with Thai and with expats living in Thailand. Together, Craig and Jen’s mission is to impart the spirit of adoption within the nation of Thailand and to equip ministers of healing and discipleship.
