2018 STATE OF THE MINISTRY ADDRESS - "Increased Capacity"
On January 30th, 2018, Dr. Jerry Williamson delivered the "State of the Ministry" Address to our World Headquarters. Echoing 2017's address, "Vive Fidons" is the battlecry for our Go To Nations Staff and Missionaries as we work fearlessly to complete the mission. This year's address gives practical insight on how each Board Member, Staff Member, and Missionary can increase his or her capacity as we strategically move forward. Please watch this powerful discourse on how we are discipling nations and creating movements.
Our mission is to GO TO NATIONS with the Gospel of Jesus Christ until every tribe, every tongue, every nation has heard.
GO TO NATIONS, in global partnership with the body of Christ, trains leaders to change nations, ignites the fires of evangelism, brings hope to the hurting, and plants strong national churches. This is accomplished by envisioning, mobilizing, training, and serving the Church worldwide to conduct cross-cultural missions ministry.
We do this by:
•Focusing on strategic locations in the world where Go To Nations can develop strong missions projects and assist nationals in developing missions movements in their own communities and churches.
•Operating a thriving international headquarters which uses advanced technology for communication, coordination, and administrative purposes.
• Providing viable training to equip and mobilize laborers for missions service nationally and internationally.
• Developing a strong network of relationships with local churches, denominations, and church associations.
• Building a solid financial partnership base in order to undergird future growth and project development with no debt accumulation.
Our History begins with Calvary International, Inc.
Calvary International became a 501 (c)(3) religious non-profit organization serving as a missions sending agency. Calvary International has mobilized hundreds of missionaries throughout the nations. By bringing hope to this hurting world, igniting the fires of evangelism, and training leaders to change nations, we are moving closer to finishing the task of fulfilling the Great Commission in this generation.
Founded by Daniel and Sharon Williams and incorporated in 1981, Calvary International has grown and developed into having a significant role in missions mobilization. Beginning in Costa Rica and providing a lasting impact in Latin America where more than 4,000 nationals were trained in the Bible Training Center (BTC), Calvary has proceeded to help establish 34 Bible schools around the world. In the former Soviet Union over 850 congregations and 3,000 house church fellowships have resulted from the Calvary International initiated church planting work and subsequent relationships with other ministries.
The International Office is located in Jacksonville, Florida, where candidates receive intensive field preparation, training, and orientation.
